Regular Transaction

In SIP, a regular transaction, is

RFC 3261, section 6

any transaction with a method other than INVITE, ACK, or CANCEL.

Despite defining this term, RFC 3261 use the term non-INVITE transaction pretty much everywhere else in the text. And so now does the rest of the world. Whether this is good or bad is up to discussion...
